Stridsberg Powertrain AB is a Contractor in a the DRESS project of the Sixth Framework Programme of the European Community (2002-2006). DRESS stands for Distributed and Redundant Electro mechanical nose gear Steering System. Stridsberg Powertrain AB is to supply the project with highly redundant electric motors with high torque to volume ratio. Shown is a 10 kN actuator incorporating several Stridsberg patents and developed by SAAB and the Swedish military.
